FastWeb - Provides
a free scholarship search service on the web with a database of 180,000
scholarships, grants, loans, etc. Students enter information about
themselves and the program searches for appropriate scholarship
programs. The student information is then set up in a mailbox and
additional scholarships are added to it as they become available.
The College Board
- Has a Scholarship Search program that allows students to enter
information on their backgrounds and interests and then searches a data
base of scholarships, loans, etc. When you get to the College Board
Homepage, click on "Services for Students and Parents," in order to get
to the Scholarship Search.
National Association of
Student Financial Aid Administrators - Provides a great deal of
info on financial aid and many links to other homepages. Also has a
feature in which you can e-mail questions about financial aid to a
financial aid administrator who will respond.
Federal Financial Aid
Homepage - Provides extensive information on federal financial aid
including how to fill out the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal
Student Aid), the essential document in applying for all financial aid.
Also has college and technical school search program
Salliemae - The
largest commercial provider of loan funds for higher education. This
site provides access to the CASHE scholarship search service on-line as
well as financial aid and loan calculators, information about sources
of loans, the financial aid process, etc.

Learn about using national service to raise money for college.
Western Interstate
Commission For Higher Education - WICHE administrators the Western
Undergraduate Exchange Program (WUE) Which allows students from Montana
to attend public colleges, universities and community colleges in 14
western states at substantially lower tuition rates that out-of-state.
There are limits on the majors allowed and the number of students
accepted.
National Commission For
Cooperative Education - Great introduction to the topic of
cooperative education where students alternative periods of college
study with paid employment in the students areas of study.
